Solar Generation Calculations
Here is a basic Solar System Performance Calculator from the good folks of NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory). This independent and unbiased government scientific group has created a simple model which applies 40 years of weather history using a few simple parameters. This data and others like it, are used through out the country to determine, on a monthly basis, how many kWh’s can be produced given their system size in KW.
