Myth #1: Solar energy is cost-prohibitive.

Myth #3: Solar doesn’t help me save money when there is no sun.
As a result of Net-Metering, you can EVEN save money when there is no sun (with some limitations, of course). We will size your installation so it doesn’t produce more than your total annual demand. Even so, if you have sufficient solar surface we may at times be generating more during some sunny days than you will consume at that specific time of day. Consider a weekend when your company is off and minimal functions are turned on. When this happens, the surplus electricity we produce goes back into the utility grid, you get a credit for it right away, and then you get to take back the surplus from your utility for free when you need it a during the week.

Fact #2: The lights will not go out when the sun goes down.
American Clean Energy will provide you with clean, solar-generated electricity when the sun shines (which, by the way, is when grid electricity is most expensive). When the sun goes down, you simply take the energy you need from the grid, just like before. If you’ve built up utility credits (see Myth #3) you may even get part of your utility electricity without having to pay them for it.
