Our Team has decades of experience managing and developing large scale projects.

Steve E. Morgan, our CEO, brings a wealth of industry and engineering experience as a senior executive of First Energy Corporation for many years, culminating in his position as CEO and Chairman of Jersey Central Power & Light.  He has the proven energy infrastructure knowledge required to lead our company and he has demonstrated managerial success and results at the highest levels of the electric power industry.

George A. Ringel, our COO, has been leading large cross-functional technical and business teams for Fortune 500 companies. He has successfully executed multi-million dollar projects, in various roles for over 25 years.  His commitment to customer service and flawless project execution is unparalleled.

Eric H. Selmon, our Director of Finance, is responsible for securing financing for the company’s projects and helping to structure projects to maximize returns for investors and savings for customers.

Sol Moskowitz, our Director of Business Development, is a perfectionist with a driving desire to please our customers and exceed their expectations.  If there is any need to accomplish an important task just ask Sol and relax.  He’ll get her done, right.

Phil Cook, our Director of Sales, joined our team in August 2010 to lead our sales efforts. Phil’s specialty is pulling together the various components of a business solution – People, Process and Technology; in meeting the specific needs of each individual client.

Stephen E. Morgan Chief Executive Officer

Steve joined the company as our CEO effective September 1, 2009.  In this role he is responsible for the company’s strategic direction, policy, governance and overall financial and operational results.

Prior to joining the company he was President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board at Jersey Central Power and Light Company, the second largest electric utility in the state of New Jersey serving 1.1 million customers in half the towns and counties across the state.

His background with FirstEnergy Corporation, the parent of JCP&L, spanned nearly 33 years and included engineering, operational management and executive positions across the three state service territory including parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  In these roles he has had responsibility for inception, design, construction, project management, testing and ongoing maintenance of complex electrical generation, transmission and distribution projects.

He co-directed the merger between Ohio Edison and Centerior Energy which formed FirstEnergy as well as the merger between FirstEnergy and GPU Corp, the parent of JCP&L which formed the nation’s fifth largest electric utility serving more than 4 million customers across parts of three states.

Mr. Morgan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the Ohio State University and is a registered Professional Engineer in Ohio.   He has also completed the University of Michigan, School of Business Executive Management Program.

He has been active in a number of organizations and boards in New Jersey including the Board of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority; Rutgers University Institute of Marine and Coastal Science Board of Trustees; New Jersey Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees, its Executive Board and Chairman of the Chamber Foundation; and Leadership New Jersey Board of Trustees.   He has also been active in the Center for Environment, Energy and Economic Policy (CEEEP) at the Bloustein School at Rutgers and was involved in crafting the New Jersey Energy Master Plan.

George A. Ringel Chief Operating Officer

George is responsible for oversight of all office and field operations, business processes and information systems.   He brings 25+ years of leadership experience with large scale business process, technology and related systems implementations.   George is one of the co-founders of American Clean Energy.

While with Ascentua, a commercial software startup, Mr. Ringel was responsible for development and commercialization of 3 software products.  In that role he established budget, led market analysis, designed functionality, managed 3 product development and 3 product services teams.

At Liz Claiborne Inc., Jones Apparel Group and Kellwood Corporation, George has proved that he is a leading innovator in process improvement and the application of technology for strategic business advantage.  As an example, with his leadership, Claiborne’s Transformation 2000, a $30 Million, 3 year effort, was delivered on time, on budget with no significant business disruption.  As the $4.5 Billion company continued full operations, his team replaced legacy server platforms, retrained on a new operating system and development tools, customized and adopted a brand new ERP beta, implemented 2 fully automated Distribution centers, built a customized Integration layer, EDI, rolled out an entirely new Retail Platform to over 500 stores and created the leading Business Intelligence tool in the wholesale industry.

He has earned an Entrepreneurial Management MBA from Rutgers and a BS in Computer Science.

Eric H. Selmon Director of Finance

Eric is responsible for securing financing for the company’s projects and helping to structure projects to maximize returns for investors and savings for customers.

For the past 10 years Eric has been analyzing and investing in power, clean technology and renewables companies. He has spent extensive time with senior management across these industries understanding their businesses and their investments. He has worked with leading experts in the tax and finance fields to understand the optimal structures for different types of projects to increase returns and make them more attractive to investors.

Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems and Energy Technologies and a Masters of Science in Energy Engineering from Stanford University. He also earned a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School and is a member of the bar in New York and New Jersey.

Sol Moskowitz Director of Business Development

Sol is responsible for sales and business development.  In this role he does any job necessary to further the goals of the company.

Sol is a successful real estate developer and builder in the Newark, NJ region. He is responsible for the development of over two hundred houses over the last ten years. He has extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with all aspects of planning, development, construction, and governmental regulation.

Phil Cook Director of Sales

Phil leads our sales team and is eager to work with prospective clients to determine how solar power can best be put to work for them. With over 30 years of sales experience with companies including IBM, Gartner, Cisco Systems, and IT Security start-up firm Vigilinx, Phil is comfortable with complex sales cycles, and managing the resources of business and technology partners to craft the optimal solution for his clients.

Over the years Phil has worked with small companies as well the Fortune 500. He has been both team manager and team member for sales organizations serving a variety of industries; including Financial Services, Manufacturing and Distribution, Media and Publishing, and Pharmaceutical and Healthcare. His “customer first” approach to account management assures a high degree of customer satisfaction; and serves as a foundation to his long-standing sales philosophy: Your Best Customers are your Best Sales Prospects.

Phil has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Kansas
